Race 3 of 4 in the Alamo Beer Series Challenge
We will place some Parking Signs to show you where some parking is located in and around Old Town Helotes. Try to use common sense if you park in front of a business that is going to open before you get back. Please try not to park there. We want these local businesses to be able to provide parking for their clients as well as welcome our return.
Parking Notes:
- If you park at the Baptist Church across the highway from El Chaparral, you have to be super careful crossing Bandera Rd.
- Do not park in the Shops of Old Town, the owner will have you towed.
- You can park in the Gardens of Old Town.
- Across from Pete’s place is the back side of Gardens of Old Town you can park there but not at Pete’s place.
- Bluffs of Old Town is also good parking. Across the street is the Antique Store. Behind this store is an open field and you can park in this field as it is public parking.
- Parking on the street up and down Old Bandera Rd is public parking.
- Helotes Beer Garden is open parking as well
- Use the map as an outline and come early.
El Chaparral is the host of this race and we will allow 50 cars to park in the very back behind where the start of the race is location. You will not be able to leave early. So do not park here if you are going to leave early. This is for volunteers, vendors and those runners that are going to stay late.
DO NOT PARK AT EL CHAPARRAL. The parking lot close to the restaurant is for their patrons. If you are runner, do not park here, they will tow your car.

All finishers will receive a medal.
All series finishers (all 4 races) get an additional medal.
Award categories is 1st – 4th for 5k or 10k.
Age categories:
14 and under, 15-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+
First overall male and female and first overall masters, male and female.
All age group awards will be based on chip time due to needing to start in waves.
